The Annexe

AnnexeNewAs part of Vivian House, the Annexe offers flexible accommodation – its location makes it ideal for the single traveller or for couples wanting a central base to explore and sample the many restaurants in St Ives. Alternatively it can present the perfect solution to a larger gathering since when booked along with the Apartment, there is room for a party of six. Families and friends can enjoy meals and days out together and the Annexe can then provide a bit of privacy and independence. However, the Annexe is not suitable for children under 12.

Access Vivian House up a sloped path and gate and the Annexe is on the right.
The Annexe is cosy and very compact and every effort has been made to utilise the space. The entrance leads into the bedroom where the 4′ ottoman bed lifts up to provide plenty of storage.

All bedding, linen and bath towels are supplied – but please bring your own beach towels.

The ensuite shower room has an electric shower, a little wash basin, wc and heated towel rail. Upstairs the kitchen area includes a small fridge, a combi microwave oven and a single electric ring. The sofa bed upstairs can provide further flexible accommodation but the Annexe is only suitable to sleep a maximum of two. There is a hair dryer, TV/DVD player and free wi-fi. Electric wall heaters are there to use as and when required.

The Annexe faces into the courtyard which it shares with the Apartment and access to Vivian House. After a few hours on the beach the outdoor shower is invaluable to wash down wet suits and then sit and relax on the sunny bench.

We have one secure parking space available for Vivian House Annexe. This is in a gated carpark a few minutes walk away and the charge matches the Cornwall Council long term carparks at  £8.50 a night or £58 for the week (see here for more info).

If you intend to explore Cornwall check out the weekly rover ticket which entitles the car owner to park in most but not all long term car parks across Cornwall (see the link here for more details).
